Kamut® Walnut Pie Crust
Ingredients
  • 3 cups Erewhon Kamut Flakes
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions
  • Place all ingredients in food processor and blend until the consistency of small crumbs.
  • Pat crumb mixture into 9" pie plate with moistened fingertips.
  • Pie crust may be chilled or baked.
  • Chilled: Chill crust thoroughly and add your favorite filling. If filling with cooked filling, allow filling to cool before pouring into pie crust.
  • Baked: Bake in 350 degree preheated oven for 10 minutes. Let crust cool completely before filling with your favorite pie filling.
