Graham Cracker Pie Crust
New Morning Organic Graham Crackers make for a delicious pie crust!
Ingredients
- Canola oil spray
- 10 whole New Morning Organic Grahams
- 3 tablespoons canola oil
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
Directions
- Oil an 8" spring form pan or pie plate.
- Using a food processor, grind crackers to fine crumbs.
- Add oil and maple syrup and pulse until combined.
- Press crumbs into the pan, extending up the sides. To prevent crumbs from sticking to fingers, cover them with a piece of plastic wrap and then press.
- Pie crust may be chilled or baked.
CHILLED CRUST
- Chill crust thoroughly and fill with your favorite filling. If filling with a cooked filling, allow the filling to cool befor pouring into pie crust.
BAKED CRUST
- Lightly prick bottom of crust with a fork. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 10 minutes, Let crust cool completely before filling with your favorite filling.
