Kamut® Walnut Pie Crust
Use the unique flavor of Erewhon Kamut Flakes to make a versatile pie crust for a great start to your own creation.
Ingredients
- 3 cups Erewhon Kamut Flakes
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- ¼ cup walnuts
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions
- Place all ingredients in food processor and blend until the consistency of small crumbs.
- Pat crumb mixture into 9" pie plate with moistened fingertips.
- Pie crust may be chilled or baked.
- Chilled: Chill crust thoroughly and add your favorite filling. If filling with cooked filling, allow filling to cool before pouring into pie crust.
- Baked: Bake in 350 degree preheated oven for 10 minutes. Let crust cool completely before filling with your favorite pie filling.
